What a phenomenal year 2014 has been. We feel blessed to be on the road as a family, seeing and experiencing the world around us.
Having had an amazing experience throughout Israel, we were ready to move on to our next destination – Tanzania. However, with the magic of flexibility that we have in our travels, we decided to take a short detour and ring in the new year in Cyprus! So, we found an available timeshare through RCI, found some cheap flights on www.cheapoair.com (yes, that’s really what it’s called!) and voila! We’re in Cyprus!
At this point…no touring for us, just rest and relaxation…
And while the sun sets on 2014, it will rise again and shine brightly for 2015. From our family to yours, we wish you a happy, healthy, and joyous New Year.

And the adventure is just beginning. You’re going to love Tanzania! If you can, bring lots of pens for the local children; they don’t have access to such a basic thing, and they will love you for it. Their smiles will say it all.

Happy New Year Jill! We took a walk down to the beach today, and the waves were absolutely huge! No way I was going in for a swim there. Besides the huge waves, being dashed to pieces on the rocks didn’t really appeal to me! We’re looking forward to Tanzania as well, and hoping to see the “big 5” on safari! All the best for 2015!

What a moving Christmas you must have had!!! I have so enjoyed reading about your travels. I agree that there is a marked change in the girls’ writing. I sometimes have to check to see whose voice I am hearing and have been surprised several times to discover it is one of the girls!!!
