While in Verona, like Zoe, I decided to make a Hunt. It is run on the app Huntzz and is a virtual treasure hunt. There are clues to follow around the city, and when the right answer is chosen, information is given on the building, monument or site that you are seeing. .
The first place on the hunt is the Arena di Verona.
Next, the Piazza Bra.
The third location is the Via Mazzini.
After the Via Mazzini, we visited the Casa di Giulietta, or Juliet’s house.
The next location on the hunt is located in the square in front of the Palazzo Maffei.
From the Palazzo, we head to the Piazza dei Signori.
Our next location is the Scaliger tomb.
The next place on the hunt is the Porta Borsari.
After leaving the gate, we will go to the Ponte Scaligero behind the Castelvecchio.
Our final destination is inside the Castelvecchio.
This project was a lot of fun, and it has shown me how simple app- development can be. Maybe it could be my future job!

Happy Thanksgiving.
Hello Karen,
We wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving as well! We’ll be celebrating on the other side of the world and will be sending our good thoughts to you.
Hey Mikhaila,
That sounds really fun…I’m going to try that App next time I go on a trip. You guys are really having some awesome and inspiring experiences. Thanks for all the updates!
Harriet
Hi Harriet,
The app makes it really easy to create your own hunt in any place around the world. I would suggest doing it on a mobile device (iPad, phone, iPod, tablet, etc.) so that you can set the locations of the clues while you are there. I’m glad to hear that we are inspiring you; that is one of the things that our trip is trying to accomplish.
Hello Mikhaila,
I Love all the historical tidbits on the treasure hunt! Did you count the number of band aids on the wall? One of my favourite poets is Dante! I enjoyed all the beautiful squares and the marble walk way! Thanks for all the great info. Love Baba
Hello Baba,
If I had tried to count the bandaids, I’d still be there right now! I too love all the squares in Verona which I have seen all around Italy.
Maybe we can find a treasure hunt for when we are in Grenoble together?
Hi Kim,
Next time you come and visit, we can make one together! 🙂
