Oink, bleat, baah, cluck! While staying in Bagnere-de-Bigorre for 2 weeks, we had the chance to look after different types of farm animals. After our stay, we learned many things about the animals. Here are different things we learned about the pigs and goats while on the farm.

I did read somewhere that pigs actually could be pets because they were clever and in reality liked to be clean. Did you find that? Maybe if a dog is out of the question, your parents will let you have a wee piggie? (Tee hee)
Hi Herta,
The pigs were so adorable!!!!!! I think I’d like one as a pet. I did witness one of the little pigs taking a bath in their water container, so they are pretty clean! 🙂
Hi Mik,
Thanks for explaining the differences in the animals. That was very interesting! Also I forgot to mention to Zoe that I found it very interesting to learn that if you see one of the sheep isn’t with the rest of their pack, this is an indication that it is ill.
I like Apples and wrinkles as well!

Hello Baba,
All the animals are so unique and have such different personalities, they are like people! Except for Bandit. I have yet to meet someone as “interesting” as him. My favourites were definitely the pigs and sheep. So cute!!
Hi, Mikhaila, great posting, I like how your presentation shows the different animals. Did you have to milk the girl goats? I like pigs too, and have a bracelet with all different little piglets. Looks like this was a great experience all around.
Hi Oma,
We didn’t have to milk the goats fortunately. I don’t know how much they would like it if strangers are milking them! This was a lot of fun and I would love to have a pig as a pet.
HI Mikhaila
It was great reading your take on our animals characters and the photos are excellent. I think you learnt a lot about farm animals during your stay here. Pigs are great and very clean, although you wouldn’t want to keep one in your house, they would eat the carpets, cupboards and pretty much anything else they can get to!
